I've been in Stockholm for a week's holidays and now find myself qualified to provide a definitive ranking of 1,000 Swedish specialities:
1. Hotel breakfast buffet. Even if you stay in a grotty hotel you're very likely to get an elaborate, all you can eat breakfast that'll set you up for the day. It's usually included in the price. Porridge, picked herrings, pancakes and everything in between.
2. Fika. Coffee break, usually taken with that other Swedish institution, a kanelbulle.
3. Volvo P1800ES. Original, stylish in a sensible Swedish way.
4. Volvo FH750. Not quite the 750bhp the name suggests but enough torque that rather than move it rotates the earth under it. Automated manual box only incidentally.
5. Volvo P210 Duett. Sensible, sturdy and ideal for the dourly socialist Sweden of the 1950s and 1960s.
1000. Snus. Tobacco put behind the lip and allowed to dissolve. It does this to you. Don't.

We have something very similar to kanelbulle here in Finland too but we call it korvapuusti meaning open palm slap to ear in English.
Snus is also popular alternative to cigarettes amongst young people despite not being sold here. I kind of hope it would replace cigarettes altogether...

I dunno, it's a stereotype. I've never been to Sweden. I have no idea how many hot women there are in Sweden. There are hot women everywhere. But it's fun to perpetuate stereotypes.
